FDA expands recall of frozen berries after E coli outbreak left 17 sick
The US Food and Drug Administration broadened the recall of additional lots of frozen berries after its received new information about possible E. coli contamination during an onsite inspection.
The affected frozen fruit products, which were distributed to 19 states and to retailers like Walmart and Publix, were recalled starting in July.
